Wellness roof Sauna
This project was conceived as a bespoke wellness retreat, carefully integrated into the rooftop of an 11th-floor penthouse in Tel Aviv. While the site offers breathtaking views and a unique urban setting, it also presented a set of complex challenges — from limited access to the need for privacy within an exposed rooftop environment, and the demands of the local coastal climate.
The design focuses on carving out an intimate, protected sanctuary within a defined corner of the roof. The concept frames the space with lush vegetation, creating a natural envelope that softens the urban context while ensuring privacy. A concealed outdoor shower and a custom-built sauna were seamlessly integrated, designed to withstand Tel Aviv’s heat, humidity, and sea air.
Execution was carried out with a high level of precision and craftsmanship, emphasizing durability, material quality, and refined detailing. The design language responds directly to the client’s home, with tailored proportions and custom dimensions adapted to the scale and lifestyle of its tall residents.
The result is a quiet, elevated retreat — a place to disconnect, recharge, and feel immersed in a private world above the city.

From raw materials to fine technical details, every element reflects deep craftsmanship—each joint and finish balancing architectural precision with genuine passion.
Atmospheric lighting: Integrated fixtures and indirect lighting compose warm nighttime scenes, highlighting pathways, planting masses, and the sauna volume without disrupting the urban horizon.
In front of the sauna, an outdoor shower was positioned to mirror and extend the spatial experience, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture, nature, and ritual.
